Note:  Letha Ophelia Near was born June 16, 1907 and died on September 5, 
1907, daughter of Stanley C. and Mary M. Goudy Near.

Stanley Charles Near was born May 15,1880 and died February 20, 1965. He was 
the husband of Mary M. (Goudy) Near whom he married on November 25, 1903 and 
the father of Letha Ophelia Near.

Mary M. Goudy Near was born March 23, 1876 and died April 8, 1938.  She was 
the wife of Stanley Charles Near and the mother of Letha Ophelia Near.

Jay James Near was born September 15, 1846 in Hamburg, Livingston Co., MI and 
died November 11, 1931 in Aurelius, Ingham Co., MI.  His parents were Charles 
Nellis and Mary (Becker) Near.  He was married to Elizabeth Ophelia Shephard 
Near and was the father of Stanley Charles Near.

Elizabeth Ophelia Shephard Near was born June 26, 1854 Clarkston, Oakland Co., 
MI and died May 24, 1908 in Aurelius, Ingham County, Michigan.  She was the 
daughter of John H. and Elizabeth (Parish) Shephard, wife of Jay James Near 
and mother of Stanley Charles Near.
