CHANDLER 1832 - 1884 RACHEL M. HIS WIFE 1843 - 1920 Note: Eli Wilson Chandler served in the 28th Regiment Michigan Infantry during the Civil War. He passed away April 17, 1884 in Michigan. After his death, his wife Rachel Melvira (Carl) Chandler married Frank Keesler. Frank Keesler and his first wife are also buried in Leek Cemetery. Rachel M. Keesler death certificate shows she was the daughter of Samuel Carl and Maria Hudson born June 15, 1843 in Ingham Co., MI, white, female, married, husband's name B. F. Keesler and passed away May 17, 1920 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 76 years 11 months and 2 days, cause of death, cancer of the uterus. Informant was B. F. Keesler and burial was on May 20, 1920 in Leek Cemetery. Eli Wilson and Rachel Melvira (Carl) Chandler were the parents of Bertha Elizabeth (Chandler) Corbin born January 27, 1883 in Michigan and passed away June 2, 1974 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI. She was the wife of Alfred Ernest Corbin (born July 16, 1876 in Essex Co., Ontario, Canada, and died April 16, 1956 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI. They were the parents of Allan E. Corbin (1910-1931). They are also buried in Leek Cemetery.
