Note:  Ruth G. Palen death certificate shows she was the daughter of F. Marsh 
and Myrtie Nichols born July 4, 1881 in Michigan, female, white, married, died 
November 10, 1916 in Alaiedon Township, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 35 years 
4 months and 6 days, cause of death Diabetes.  Informant Lewis C. Palen and 
burial was on November 12, 1916 in Leek Cemetery.
