Note:  Sarah J. Carpenter was the daughter of father not known and mother 
Sarah Jane Buck.  Death certificate shows she was a white, female, widowed, 
housekeeper born December 21, 1863 in New York and passed away March 21, 1916 
in Iosco Township, Livingston Co., MI at the age of 63 years 3 months and 21 
days, cause of death - found dead in bed, heart blockage.  Burial was on March 
23, 1916 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI.

Cemetery records also show a Glorus Carpenter, Herbert E. Carpenter, Sallie 
Carpenter and William A. Carpenter buried in the same family plot.  No 
headstones for them.
