Note:  William B. Charters death certificate shows he was the son of John and 
Martha (Bowden) Charters,male, white, married,occupation Mill foreman, born 
August 14, 1851 in Scotland (Headstone gives year as 1849) and died December 
3, 1917 in Bay City, Bay Co., MI at the age of  66 years 3 months and 19 days, 
cause of death carcinoma of the stomach. Burial was on December 6, 1917 in 
Mason, Ingham Co., MI.
