Note:  William Couch enlisted as a Private in Company Batty E Michigan 1st 
L.A. Batty E Light Artillery on 07 Sep 1864.  Mustered out 30 Jul 1865 in 
Jackson, MI.  

He was the son of Job and Nancy (Barr) Couch, husband of Jane (Thayer) Couch 
and father of Charles William Couch.

Jane (Thayer) Couch was the daughter of John and Amelia (Mier) Thayer, wife of 
William Couch and mother of Charles William Couch.

Charles William Couch was the husband of Edith Irene (Freer) Couch. They were 
the parents of Anna Irene Couch and Betty Couch.  He was born March 9, 1880 in 
Aurelius, Ingham Co., MI and passed away on January 1, 1937.

Edith Irene (Freer) Couch was the daughter of James Augustus and Emily V. 
(Vossberg) Freer.  She passed away on October 31, 1937.
