He was born August 28, 1852 in New York and died November 3, 1911 Mason, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 59 years 2 months and 6 days. He was a white male, married, occupation elevator man. Informant was Mrs. James Dean and he was buried on November 7, 1911 in Maple Grove Cemetery. James Henry Dean and Ella H. Lowella Dean were the parents of Ada Viola Dean. Buried in the family plot are Addie Dean Amsdell, Pelina (Bravender) Amdsdell, William Amsdell (son) William Amsdell, father, Ada Dean, Ella Dean, and James H. Dean. There is no headstone for Addie Dean Amsdell, Pelina (Bravender) Amsdell or William M. Amsdell (son). In Find A Grave the last name is spelled Amsdel by Linda Hickerson. In the cemetery records it is spelled Amsdill. On William Amsdell headstone, it is spelled AMSDELL.
