HIS SON 1887 - 1919 Note: Family tree record sources shows that Abraham "Abe" DePew was the son of Joseph and Eleanor Ellen Nancy (Watson) DePew and that he was born in 1848 Ohio. (Headstone shows birth year as 1855). He married Emaline Bailey (1843- Feb 23, 1893 Auburn, DeKalb Co., IN) on December 28, 1871. They were the parents of George Wallace DePew. It is unknown when he died. George Wallace DePew was born April 8, 1875 in DeKalb Co., IN. (Headstone shows year of birth as 1887). Death Certificate shows he was a white male, divorced, parents Abe DePew and Emma Bailey and died June 3, 1919 in Meridian, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 44 years, 1 month and 25 days; cause of death Diabetes Melitius. Informant's name was E. W. Fuller. Burial was June 3, 1919 in Maple Grove Cemetery. World War I Draft Registration Cards 1917-1918 shows his full name as George Wallace DePew and date of birth also as April 8, 1875. Family tree record sources shows he was married to Bertha Estella Parrish. Not known if they had children.
