DOTSON MONUMENT

The following headstone is located near the Dotson Monument:

FRED DOTSON
1880 - 1920

Note:  Mayme A. (Ferguson) Dotson death certificate shows she was the daughter 
of William H. Ferguson (NY and Nettie Antoinette (Hughes) Ferguson (OH), white 
female, married, husband Fred Dotson, born August 12, 1880 Michigan and passed 
away January 31, 1920 in Lansing, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 39 years 5 
months and 19 days, cause of death Broncho Pneumonia.  Informant Fred Dotson 
and Burial was on February 3, 1920 in Mason, MI.

Fred Dotson is buried in the same plot but there is no headstone for him.  He 
was the son of James and Sarah Elizabeth (Craig) Dotson, born on January 16, 
1880 in Bloomington, McLean Co., IL and passed away February 14, 1934 in 
Mason, Ingham Co., MI.  He married Mayme A. Ferguson on October 7, 1905.  He 
married Clara Cole July 24, 1924.
