(Haight) Darling was the daughter of Henry J. and Mary E. Haight, wife of Frank I. Darling and mother of Ralph E. Darling and Grace (Darling) Callahan. Henry J. Haight enlisted as a private in Saline, Michigan. He enlisted in Company A Michigan 24th Infantry Regiment 28 Mar 1865 and mustered out on 28 Jun 1865 in Detroit, MI. He was the husband of Mary E. Haight and father of Clara V. (Haight) Darling.
