Note: Michigan Genealogical Death Indexing System showed  Lodeska J. Hawley as 
a white, female, born in Michigan, parents Lewis and Melissa Case died January 
8, 1886 in Mason Ingham County, Michigan at the age of 43 years 11 months and 
22 days, cause of death Inflammation of brain.

1880 Census for Mason, Ingham Co. Michigan shows their last name spelled as 
Hauley and not Hawley.

Silas R. Hauley age 43, born about 1837 NY,  Printer
Lodeska Hauley, Wife, age 37 born about 1843 Michigan, Keeps House
Carrie Hauley, Daughter, age 17, born about 1863 Michigan, At School
Elmer Hauley, Son, age 14 born about 1866 Michigan works in Printing Office
