KNIGHT CO F MISS MAR BRIG NOTE: Civil War records show a Charles G. Knight enlisted at the age of 19 as a Private in Company G Ohio 123 Infantry Regiment on 24 Sept 1862. Promoted to Full Corporal and musted out on 12 June 1865 at Camp Chase, Ohio. State Served Ohio; Was Pow yes; was Wounded Yes; Survived the War; Yes. Do not know for certain if this is the same Charles G. Knight. Michigan Genealogical Death Indexing System showed a R. Charles G. Knight, white, male, married, born in Ohio, occupation, paymaster, date of death on December 15, 1887 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI, died at the age of 48 years and 5 months, cause of death Typhoid Fever. Michigan Genealogical Death Indexing System also showed a Hubert A. Knight, born in MI, white, male who died on July 7, 1871 in Vevay, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 1 year 11 months and 15 days, cause of death Dysentry and father's name shown as a Charles A. Knight.
