NOTE: 1880 Census Mason Ingham Co., MI showed Frank M. Lyon, age 34 born about 
1846 and his wife Loryette, age 30 born about 1850 MI living with Frank's 
parents, Ransom d. and Adaline Lyon.

Military Records shows a Francis M. Lyon, age 21 enlisted on 21 Feb 1864 as a 
Private in Jackson, MI.  Enlisted in Company B U.S. Volunteers 2nd Sharp 
Shooter Regiment on 22 Feb 1864 .  Mustered out on 28 Jan 1865 at Detroit, 
MI.  Wounded in the war, yes; Date of birth about 1843 Death date 22 Nov 1887 
in Lansing, Ingham Co., MI 

Michigan Genealogical Death Indexing System showed Frank Lyon, born in MI, 
white, male, widowed, laborer, parents, Ransom D. and Martha A. Lyon, died 21 
Nov 1887 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 41 years, 1 month and 22 days, 
cause of death, abscess of side.

Michigan Genealogical Death Indexing System showed Martha Lyon, born in Mass., 
white female, married, housekeeper, died Oct 18, 1887 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI 
at the age of 66 years 4 months and 18 days, cause of death Typhoid Fever.

Martha Adaline Lyon was the wife of Ransom D. Lyon and mother of Frank M. Lyon.
