Note:  Nellie Pratt Merrick death certificate shows she was the daughter of 
Dennis Pratt and mother Cornell, born August 9, 1870 in Bloomington, McLean 
Co., IL and passed away December 25, 1920 in Lansing, Ingham Co., MI at the 
age of 50 years 4 months and 16 days.  Informant name was James Merrick and 
burial was on December 28, 1920 in Mason, MI.

James Merrick death certificate shows he was born in Ohio, son of John Merrick 
and mother unknown.  He passed away April 13, 1898 in Alaiedon Township, 
Ingham Co., MI at the age of 58 years and 11 months.

James Merrick and Nellie Pratt Merrick were the parents of infant daughter 
Getrude E. Merrick.  Her death certificate shows she was born November 21, 
1902 Mason, Ingham Co., MI and died June 2, 1903 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI at 
the age of 7 months and 12 days.  There is no headstone for her in the family 
plot.

Cemetery records also show a George Merrick, Infant Merrick, James Jr. Merrick 
and Lillie Merrick also buried in the family plot.  There are no headstones 
for them.

Catherine Elizabeth Merrick was also the wife of James Merrick.  Her death 
certificate shows she was the daughter of John Riachi (?), mother unknown,  
born March 12, 1845 in Ohio and passed away September 22, 1919 in Lansing, 
Ingham Co., MI at the age of 74 years 6 months and 10 days, cause of death 
Bright's disease.

Census records shows that James and Catherine Elizabeth Merrick were also the 
parents of James Jr. Merrick born abt 1872 MI, George Merrick born about 1879 
MI, Rosa Bell Merrick born about 1873 MI and Anna M. Merrick born about 1875 
MI.  No information to date on the mother of Infant Merrick or Lillie Merrick.
