MINAR MONUMENT

The following headstones are located near the Minar Monument:

Note:  Lyman and Anstress Johanna (Jenkins) Minar were the parents of Norman 
L. J. Minar, Agnes O. Minar, George A. Minar, and Frank Chester Minar.  

Lyman Minar was the son of John and Catherine (Colon) Minar.  He was born 
February 19, 1822 in New York and passed away July 17, 1907 in Mason, Ingham 
Co., MI.

Anstress Johanna (Jenkins) Minar was born in September 1822 in New York and 
died on March 28, 1901 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI.

Maggie was the wife of Norman L. J. Minar.  Norman L. J. Minar was born 
September 14, 1847 in New York.  Frank Chester Minar married Jessie K. Dubois 
on November 18, 1903 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI.  He was also married to Lillian 
K. Minar who died December 12, 1887.
