OLDS MONUMENT

The following headstones are located near the Olds Monument:

LUCIUS E. OLDS
1857 - 1934

NELLIE L.
1869 - 1952


Note:  Lucius E. Olds was the son of Ariel Y. and Eloisa Olds.  Ariel Olds 
died October 31, 1861 and his wife, Eloisa remarried again to a  
Kendall/Kenyon.  Eloisa died June 28, 1906.  They are both buried in Eden 
Cemetery, Mason, Ingham Co., MI.  

1860 Census Vevay, Ingham Co., MI showed the following:

A. Y. Olds, age 45, born about 1815 NY
Elvia Olds, age 40, born about 1820 NY
Janette Olds, age 17, born about 1843 MI
Edward Olds, age 12, born about  1848 MI
Calvin Olds, age 10, born about 1850 MI
Lois Olds, Age 5, born about 1855 MI 
Lucius A. Olds, age 3 born about 1857 MI

1870 Census Vevay, Ingham Co., MI showed the following:

Reuben Kendall, age 66
Louisa Kendall, age 50
Luis Olds, age 15
Lucius Olds, age 13
Samuel Howes, age 30
