Note:  1860 census record for Troy, Ashland Co., OH showed Sanford Peck, age 
65, born about 1795 Connecticut, Harriet Peck, age 62, born about 1798 
Connecticut, and Franklin Peck, age 20 born about 1840 Ohio

Family tree sources show Philetus Remmington Peck to be born January 24, 1824 
in Cayugha Co., NY and date of death March 15, 1880 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI 
at the age of 56, cause of death Typhoid Pneumonia.

He married Emeline G. True on September 30, 1851 in Jackson, Jackson Co., MI.

Emeline G. True was the daughter of John and Hannah Watson True and was born 
August 21, 1833 (headstone shows 1834) in Salisbury,, Merrimack Co., New 
Hampshire.  She passed away May 13, 1908 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI.   Philetus 
and Emeline were the parents of Arvin Peck.

Michigan Genealogical Indexing System shows Harriet Peck, born in NY, Female, 
White, Widowed, died September 6, 1869 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 
73 years and 3 months, cause of death Hemorrhage of Lungs.
