Note:  Cemetery records also show Marcus A. "Mark" Perrin, Jennie (Saxton) 
Perrin, and Orlo Perrin also buried in the same family plot - no headstones

Marcus A. "Mark" Perrin was a civil war veteran for Company H, 20th NY INF.  
The civil war headstone inscription in unreadable.  He was born 1846 in NY and 
died June 14, 1887 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI.  He married Jennie Saxton on 
February 5, 1871 in Dansville, Ingham Co., MI.  They were the parents of 
Addie, Edie, William H., Claude and Floyd Perrin.  Ingham County Democrat 
Newspaper article dated June 16, 1887 shows that he was the parent of seven 
children in total and his occupation was janitor at the high school building.

Ancestry.com civil war record shows that Marcus Perrin enlisted at the age of 
21 on 27 July 1863 as a Private in Gouverneur, NY for the State of New York.  
He enlisted in Company H New York 20th Calvary Regiment on 04 Sept 1863 and 
mustered out on 31 July 1865 at Fort Monroe, Va.

Marcus A. Perrin civil war headstone inscription is very very faded and 
impossible to read.
