PETTY CO B 1 OHIO L.A. Note: William A. Petty Death Certificate shows he was the son of Alvin and Maria (?) Petty. He was born January 1, 1847 in Ohio and died Jan 8, 1918 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 71 years and 3 days, cause of death gangrene of the right leg. 1880 census records Alaiedon Twp., Ingham Co., MI shows his wife as Mariah and their children as Albertine, Mildred and John Petty. Also an Alvin Petty living with them. Cemetery records shows that his wife, Mariah Petty is also buried in Section F - Lot 749. Her death certificate shows she was the daughter of Henry Sanders and Mary Cline, no date of birth on certificate but says she was born in Indiana. She died September 19, 1909 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 19 days. Burial was on September 21, 1909 in Maple Grove Cemetery.
