Note:  Jacob "Jake" Riggs was the husband of Emma T. (Steffison) Riggs and 
Kathleen "Kittie" Riggs.  He was born December 23, 1880 in Gratiot Co., MI.

Emma T. (Steffison) Riggs death certificate shows she was the daughter of Swan 
Steffison, mother unknown, born in Michigan, date of birth unknown, white, 
femle, married, wife of Jacob Riggs, died at the age of 35 years on April 5, 
1918 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., MI, cause of death infection in right 
ankle.  Burial was on April 8, 1918 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI.
