FRANCES J. 1849 - 1989

Note:  Roland Saunders was the son of Saxton B. and Chloe (Whelock) Saunders. 
He was born December 23, 1842 in Sweden Center, Monroe Co., NY.  He was a 
brother to Artemissia, John Wesley, Chloe, Lucy Ann, Lowell Hewlett,  and 
Sophronia Saunders.  His father and some of his siblings are buried in 
Greenwood Cemetery, Aurelius Rd., Ingham Co., MI.

Roland Saunders was a Civil War Veteran. He married Frances Jane Churchill on 
December 12, 1867 in Sweden, Monroe Co., NY.

1910 Ann Arbor Ward 3, Washtenaw Co., MI shows Rowland Saunders, age 67, 
father in law of Charles H. Saraw and father of Mamie P. Saraw. (Mary P. Saraw 
Saunders)  Also buried in Section C.

Frances Jane (Churchill) Saunders was the daughter of William and Charity 
(Russell) Churchill.  She was born January 2, 1849 in Sweden Center, Monroe 
Co., NY and died in 1909 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI
