P. Smead, born in NY, white, male, banker, parents, Charles and Melissa Smead, died on April 24, 1888 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 17 days, cause of death Lock Jaw. Smauel J. Prescott and Pluma A. Smead were the parents of Jennette A. Smead Amadon and Olive Holden were the parents of Carlos Holden. Their monument and headstones not far from the Smead monument.
