JOHN G. 1845 - 1929 MARY E. HIS WIFE 1850 - 1915 Note: John G. Snook was born June 3, 1845 in Waterloo Seneca Co., NY and died December 1929 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI. He was the husband of Mary E. (Beach) Snook and father of Casper J. Snook. He was also a civil war veteran. See Find a Grave Website, Maple Grove Cemetery, memorial page for Capt. John G. Snook full obituary provided by courtesy of Randy Gladstone. Mary E. (Beach) Snook was born May 30, 1850 NY and died on March 2, 1915 in Lansing, Ingham Co., MI. Her death certificate shows she was a white, female, married, housewife, parents Chillion Beach (NY) and Eliza Squires (Conn) died at the age of 64 years cause of death heart failure. Informant Capt. Snook and burial took place on March 4, 1915 in Maple Grove Cemetery. Casper J. Snook was the son of Capt. John G. and Mary E. (Beach) Snook. He was born in February 1885 in Oscoda Co., MI and passed away December 7, 1958 at the age of 73 years. He married Amelia Gumper on November 12, 1910 in Jackson, Jackson, Co., MI. They were the parents of an infant son that was born and died on March 5, 1911 in Lansing, Ingham Co., MI and is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Casper J. Snook occupation was a Car Trimmer Amelia (Gumper) Snook was born in 1875 in Manchester, Wastenaw Co., MI and passed away February 6, 1954. Cemetery records show that Casper J. and his wife Amelia (Gumper) Snook are buried next to his parents in the same family plot in the cemetery. There is no headstone for them.
