LAURA SWIGGETT
1850 - 1934

NOTE:  Michigan Civil War Records shows that George W. Swiggett enlisted at 
the age of 28 as a Prviate in Ingham Co., MI.  He enlisted in Company F, 
Michigan 11th Infantry Regiment on 07 Mar 1865.  Mustered out on 16 Sep 1865 
at Nashville, TN.

Census record for 1880 Mason, Ingham Co., MI shows Rensellear Darrow, age 36, 
1844 born in NY and wife Laura Darrow Age 30, children, Fred, age 9, Francis 
E,age 6 and Robert H. age 3.

Rensellear Darrow died sometime between 1880 and 1900.  

1900 Census Mason Ward 1 Ingham Co., MI shows George W. Swiggett, age 64 born 
May 1836 in Delaware.  Wife Laura Swiggett, age 49 born Oct 1850 Michigan and 
Robert H. Darren (suppose to be Darrow) step-son, age 23 born Mar 1877 MI.

1910 Census Mason, Ward 1 Ingham Co., MI.  shows George W. Swiggett age 74 and 
wife Laura Swiggett age 59

George Swiggett passed away between 1910 and 1920 as Laura is shown living 
with her son Robert H. Darrow, age 42, his wife Nina Darrow, age 24, Alberta 
F. Nelson age 2 5/12 and Laura Swiggett, age 69.

1930 Census Mason Ingham Co., MI shows Laura Swiggett, age 79 living with her 
son Robert H. Darrow, age 53.
