He was born November 14, 1890 in Elmo, Fayette Co., Illinois and died June 4, 1947 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI. World War I Draft Registration Card showed his full name as Ernest Alair Tripp, age 27, residing at 1211 W. St. Joseph St., Lansing, Mich.; born November 14, 1890 in Centralia, Illinois; natural born citizen; Machinist at Reo Motor Car Co., married with wife and child. Laura Edna Coleman Tripp date of birth February 3, 1889 in Lansing, Ingham Co., MI and date of death June 16, 1973 in Holt, Ingham Co., MI.
