He was the husband of Ida Deliah (Pierce) Hancock and the father of William Claude Hancock, Carrie Hancock and Myron Hancock. Ida Deliah Pierce was the daughter of Lemuel and Charlotte (Stid) Pierce. Her parents are buried in Maple Grove Cemetery in Section A. Their son, William Claude Hancocok was the husband of Elizabeth Torbert Hancock and they are both buried in Maple Grove Cemetery in Section P.
