Nelson, 1836 - 1906 & Roxanna, 1837 - 1918.

The headstones are locate near the Churchill family monument:

Nelson Churchill -

Enlisted in company D, Twenty-second Infantry, April 8, 1865, at Pontiac, for 1 year, age 39. Mustered April 8, 1865
joined regiment at Chattanooga, Tenn., May 5, 1865.  Transferred to company E, Twenty-ninth Infantry, June 26, 1865.
Discharged at Louisville, Ky, July 18, 1865.  Present residence, Lansing, Mich.
(MI Volunteers in the Civil War, Vol. 22, pg. 41.)
