The Briggs family monument is located in Section F, Lot 15.  The following

(Ada is buried in Grave 5.)

Mabel Briggs Herron, Dec. 4, 1881 - Oct. 18, 1965

(Mabel is buried in Grave 10.)


Section F, Lot 15 of Mount Hope Cemetery was sold to Robert Little of Lansing, 
Michigan for $50.00 on Sept. 8, 1875.  On Sept 23, 1882 the lot was 
transferred to James E. Hilliard.  James E. Hilliard transferred the lot to A. 
E. Briggs in 1900.

The burials listed on the cemetery records for this lot is as follows:

Mrs. Addie Briggs, date of burial March 12, 1908
Aurestes E. Briggs, date of burial Sept. 3, 1927
