Two of the 4 sides have an inscription. One side reads: Wm. Foster born in Ireland 1774, died Sept 9, 1852 Jane, Beloved wife of Wm. Foster, born in Ireland 1794, died Sept. 9, 1870 2nd side reads: "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, may they rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."
