                           Asa E. Blackney
                             1821 - 1886

Asa E. Blackney son of Eldad Blackney and Sally Cross was born on June 6, 1821
in Geneva, Ontario, New York USA. He died on November 28, 1886 in St. Johns, 
Clinton, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 91 in 
Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA with no visible marker for his grave. He married
Sarah Ann Freer in 1847 in Manchester, Washtenaw, Michigan USA and they had 
seven children: Clarinda (George Esbon Wright), Elisha Adelbert (Jennie Matilda
Cox), Ella F. (William J. Butler), Ada (Lewis N. Damoth), William "Wilbur" Asa
(Agnes Sartain), Elizabeth "Libbie" (Miles B. Pulling)(Leonard A. Williams) and
Emma Blackney (Frederick "Fred" E. Pulling).
