Prisoners are coming in nearly every day from the rebel army in front of Sherman. I hope Richmond will fall as Vixburg did last year, also Atlanta. It is all most bedtime. When you write let me know what Mr. Regals folks are doing. How are they getting a long with their house. Tell them when they get in their new house that I think UI will come up some evening and take supper with them. Well I must quit writing for this time. Write soon. Ionia County, MI, served active Sept. 3rd 1862, Promoted May 03rd 1865 to full Corporal, Discharged Jun 8th 1865 in Washington D.C. He was born in 1838, Chippewa Twp., Wayne County, OH. Died Dec. 04 1882 in Ionia CO. MI.
