Grand Rapids Press September 9, 1905
Portland, Sept 9.- The annual reunion of the Ninth Michigan Volunteer Infantry 
will be held in Portland Sept 18 and 19th. Headquarters will be at the Hotel 
Divine.
A banquet will be given at the hotel at 6:30 p.m. followed by a camp-fire at 
the opera house at 8 o'clock. Gen. H. M. Duffield of Detroit and Gen. 
Parkhurst of Coldwater will be the principal speakers at the camp-fire. Past 
Department Commander Allen of Portland is also on the program for an address.
