Taken From Refugee Train. The Press Bureau; Home Life Bldg. Washing April 28 - Congressman Doremus has received no additional word in regard to the saftey of Walter Eikel and A. F. Culver, two Michigan men who were dragged off a train and thrown into prison when attempting to escape from the interior of Mexico to Vera Cruz. The last heard of these two men a priest had been sent to their cells to administer last rites. It is said supporters of Huerta intended to put them to death. Culver formerly resided in Portland, Mich. The state department has asked Consul Canada to take measures to save these men.
