(Special to The Evening Press.) Portland, Mich., Nov. 5.- Sam Coon was stuck and instantly killed by the 10:45 passenger train westbound near the Looking Glass bridge today. Mr. Coon had been fishing and as the train approached he walked of the bridge and the engineer supposed he would get off the track. The old man was deaf and did not notice his danger.
