Grand Rapids Press September 16, 1901
Mrs. James Albro and daughter of Portland, Mich., were thrown from their
carriage shortly after 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon in front of 425 Lake avenue.
Their horse became frightened at a street car. Mrs. Albro sustained a bad cut on
her forehead and the daughter was badly shocked and shaken up. Both were removed
in the police ambulance to the office of Dr. Maurits.
