Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 19, 1993
Emma Abbey, 82, of Stanton, formerly of Ionia, died Saturday at the Ionia 
Manor.

She was born July 11, 1910, in Ionia, the daughter of Gustav and Mary Hackett 
Uhlich.

She was married to Harold Abbey.  He preceded her in death in 1972.

She has been a resident of Stanton since 1990, a longtime resident of the 
Ionia area and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Ionia.

She is survived by a daughter, three granddaughters and two brothers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; a son, William Abbey in 1986 
and a brother, John Uhlich in 1992.

Arrangements by Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home, Sheridan.
Burial in Palo Cemetery.
