Belding Banner-News, 15 Mar 1962

Mrs. Lucille (Lucy) Abbott, widow of Robert G. Abbott of Grand Rapids, passed
away suddenly Sunday afternoon at her residence, 515 Franklin, S.E., Grand Rapids.

Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Sizer, Detroit,
several cousins, among whom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reeves of Brower Lake and
her close companion, Miss Mildred Crabbs who made her home with Mrs. Abbott.

Christian Science services were held Wednesday of last week at 2 p.m. at
Eggebean Funeral Home, Grand Rapids.  Mr. Roger Price, Christian Science Reader
officiating.  Committal services were at River Ridge Mausoleum Wednesday. 
Interment will be in Otisco cemetery.

Mrs. Abbott was the former Lucy Reeves, a Belding High School graduate and
during her girlhood she lived near Cooks Corners.
