Ionia Daily Sentinel - Monday, 2 February 1948

Funeral Services for Mrs. Abby Curtis, who died Thursday, January 29, were 
held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Stone funeral home, with the Rev. Wayne 
Davis officiating.  In charge of the flowers were Mrs. Rolland Pierson, Mrs. 
Lena Clement, and Miss Carol Cahoon.

Bearers were Frank Hall, Frank Judevine, Alex Marchbank, Raymond Coon, Rolland 
Pierson and Berton Reed.  The Bethany circle and the Mrs. T. B. Preston class 
of the Church of Christ attended.  Interment was at the Woodard Lake cemetery.

Attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Curtis of Northville, Mr. and 
Mrs. Kit Clardy of East Lansing, Mrs. Mable Fancett of Sault Ste. Marie, Mrs. 
Ione Smith of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Art Haga of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Frank 
Pray of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. John Brown of Pontiac and Mrs. George Tice of 
Everett.
