Ionia Daily Standard, 3 Mar 1902

Samuel Stowell went to Lyons this morning, to act as one of the bearers at the 
funeral of John Abraham, of Lyons township, who died on Saturday morning.  They 
were comrades during the civil war, as members of Co. B. 8th infantry.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he is buried 
in Lyons Cemetery.]
