Ionia County News - thurs. July 27, 1939
Mrs. Jennie Abraham, 85, died Tuesday morning, July 25, in the University of 
Michigan hospital, as result of a fractured hip suffered June 1. She was born 
July 1, 1854, and had been a resident of Saranac for more than 60 years. Until 
about 10 years ago she ran a boarding house in the village. She was a member of 
the Congregational church, Mite Society and Ladies Literary club.

Surviving are a son, John, at home, a nephew, Clyde Clark of Grand Rapids, and 
three nieces, Mrs. Frances Wakeman, Big Rapids; Mrs. C.A. Strowbridge, 
Pittsburg, PA. and Miss Minnie Bayliss of Meridan, Calif. 

The funeral service will be at two o'clock Thursday afternoon from the home. 
Burial in Saranac.
