Keith E. Ackerson, 58, of Grand Ledge, died May 7, 1990, at a Lansing 
hospital.  He was born September 2, 1931, in Vermontville, a son of Earl and 
Grace (Shaw) Ackerson.  He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, a retired 
employee of Michigan Bell Telephone Company, and a member of the Trinity United 
Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Connie; two daughters, Jennifer and Jolene, both at 
home; one sister, Cindy Canfield of Mulliken; five brothers, Allyn and Kenneth, 
both of Sunfield, Robert of Marion, Dale of Mulliken, and Bruce of Portland; 
and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Wood 
and the Rev. Dennis Buwalda officiating.  Burial in Danby Cemetery.  
Pallbearers were Denny Ackerson, Kris Ackerson, Larry Ackerson, Terry Canfield, 
Jim Fisher, and Jason Jackson.  Arrangements were handled by the Barker-Leik 
Funeral Home, Mulliken.
