Lake Odessa Wave
  CHARLES R. ACKLES 78 DIES LAST TUESDAY
   Charles R. Ackles, 78, of 1415 Virginia St., passed away at Pennock hospital
Tuesday afternoon.  A retired 
carpenter he had resided here since 1945.
  He married Emma Yager, on January 8, 1938 in Lansing and lived there for seven
years before moving here.  Mrs. Ackles passed away in December 1959.
  Surviving are three step-daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Marguerite) Lovell of
Vermontville;  Mrs. Merle (Bernice) Trask, Lake Odessa and Mrs. Robert (Beatrice) 
Daniels of Middleton, Idaho; one step-son Theo Yager of Lake Odessa;  
12 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held on Thursday today at 2 p.m. at burial in Lakeside
cemetery.  Rev. Robert Betts officiated.
