The Ionia County Shopper’s Guide, August 1998

Joyce A. Ackley, 67, of Lake Odessa, passed away August 17, 1998.  Surviving 
are husband Vern; brothers: George Shaw of Potterville, Ralph J. Shaw of Eaton 
Rapids; sister, Lula (Loren) B. Pallas of California; aunt, Marion Kelley of 
Grand Ledge; uncle, Ernest (Julia) Shaw of Grand Ledge; special nieces: Diane 
Wright of Eaton Rapids, Martha (Brian) Hanley of Mason, Susan Crippen of Eaton 
Rapids, Judy Davis of Eaton Rapids, Vivian (Vernon) Mackley of Woodland; 
sister-in-law, Marilyn Shaw of Portland.  A private burial has taken place at 
Lakeside Cemetery.  Arrangements by Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa.
