   MRS.EVA E. ACKLEY
     LAKE ODESSA
Mrs. Veva E. Ackley, 90, of Rt 1 Vermontville, died Friday at the Barry County
Medical Care Facility in Hastings.
  She was born Nov. 3, 1890 in Ohio.  She attended Battle Creek schools, and moved
to Vermontville in 1908.  She married Elba Ackley on Jan. 4, 1910, in Hastings.
  She attended the Nashville Baptist Church.
  In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Dayton of Charlotte,
Kenneth of Woodland, and Vern of Lake Odessa; two sisters, Mrs.Vera Delaney of Lansing, 
and Mrs. Doris Tallman of Mt. Pleasant;  seven grandchildren; 19 great-granhildren;  
and six great-great-grandchildren.    
  Services were held Monday at 3:30 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops funeral Chapel in
Lake Odessa.
