          VERN R. ACKLEY
   LAKE ODESSA MI - Vern R. Ackley, age 96 of Lake Odessa, passed on Sunday. Feb.
12, 2017 at Thornapple Manor in Hastings.
   Vern was born February 19, 1920 to Elba and Veva (Henderson) Ackley,  Vern was a
forklift driver for Lake Odessa Machine Products for many years.  On November 24, 
1954 he married Joyce E. Shaw and they were together for 44 years before her passing 
in 1998.  He then married Mildred M. McNatt who preceded him in death in 2004.
   Vern loved to play euchre and was easy to get along.
   According to his wishes Vern was laid to rest next to Joyce at Lakeside Cemetery
in Lake Odessa, on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017.
