He was born June 30, 1902, in Edmore. May 4, 1925, he was married to Mildred Krouse in Belding. He spent most of his life in Ionia township and was employed at the Motor Wheel plant in Lansing at one time, and at the time of his death was employed by Glenn Pierce, contractor. He is survived by his wife; six sons, Raymond, Clayton, Alvin, Robert, George, and Kenneth, all at home; a daughter, Bonnie, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Orville Ring of Belding; Mrs. Ellis Scaden of Greenville; Mrs. Sam Kirchner of Crystal; Mrs. Olive Vaughn of Edmore; and two brothers, Oliver Adair of Saginaw and Earl Wilson of Detroit. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Myers funeral home with the Elder Burkett officiating.
