Robert L. Adair Sr., age 81, of Ionia passed away July 9, 2014 in Grand 
Rapids.  He was born July 27, 1932, the son of Max and Mildred (Krause) Adair.  
Robert married Genevieve Taylor on November 5, 1948 in Ionia.  He attended the 
Green Corner Baptist Church in Belding. 

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Genevieve Adair of Ionia; 
children, Robert Jr. (Jackie) Adair of Ionia, Judy (Barry) Helmes of Ionia, and 
Debbie (Junior) Clifford of Ionia; brothers, Alvin Adair of Greenville, Jerry 
(Ann) Adair of Florida, and Ken (Esther) Adair of Ionia; Sister, Mary Lindsley 
of Ionia; eight grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great 
grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Diane; 
brothers, Raymond and Clayton; and sister, Bonnie. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 at Green Corners 
Baptist Church in Belding with Rev. Paul Leslie officiating. Visitation will be 
Monday, July 14th, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
