   Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

       ESTHER MAE ADAIR

Died September 14, 2025-age 80 of Ionia.
Born June 3, 1945, in StJohns,MI to Lloyd & Emma (Schmidt)Cox.
Esther worked in accounts for various companies over the years, retiring from 
Sysco Food Corporation in 2008.
Esther was known for making many wedding, anniversary, graduation & birthday 
cakes. Also enjoyed quilting, crafting cherished quilts made with love.
Church, faith & love of God played an important part of Esther's life.
She attended Lyons Baptist Church, Temple Baptist Church & First Baptist Church 
of Sebewa.
Surviving are her children, Melissa (James) Wright, of Jenison, Christopher 
(Michelle)Adair of Saranac, & Kimberly (Jerry) Owsinski of Rockford & her 
precious Grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Preceded ind eath by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth, sister Helen & brothers, 
Donald, Paul & Erwin.
Visitation will be at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Thursday September 18, 2025, 
from 4-7 pm & on Friday, September 19, 2025 for 1 hour prior to the church 
service.
Funeral services will be on Friday, September 19 at 11:00am at First Baptist 
Church off Sebewa (13010 S. Goddard Rd, Lake Odessa, MI 48849) with Pastor Greg 
Mattson officiating.
Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ionia,MI.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution in Esther's 
memory to St.Jude Children's Hospital.
