Ionia County News, 8 May 1939

Funeral services for Joseph Adams were held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock at 
the Densmore funeral chapel.  Rev. John Gerhing officiated.  He was the son of 
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Adams and was born 66 years ago in Muskegon county.  When a 
small child he came to Ionia county, where he had since lived.  Mr. Adams had 
been at the Ionia county home for the past few months.  The only relatives he 
leaves are two cousins, Dan and Henry Ha_ter, and a brother-in-law, Claude 
Bowers, of Saranac and Jackson who came for the funeral.  Burial was in the 
Saranac cemetery.
