Ionia Daily Sentinel, 12 Jun 1914

Mrs. Almeda R. Adams, aged 62, wife of A.J. Adams, living northeast of Woodard
Lake, died suddenly Thursday afternoon while in the yard at her home.  She was
stricken with apoplexy and fell unconscious, dying a few moments after she had
been carried into the house.  The funeral will be attended from the Woodard Lake
church Saturday afternoon, Rev. Buffum, of Palo, officiating.  Burial in Woodard
lake cemetery.  She leaves besides her husband a daughter and a son.
